The first information from the Family Guy panel at Comic Con International 2009 has been released. Taking place as I write this post, the 45-minute panel’s purpose is to reveal information concerning upcoming episodes in the 8th season of Family Guy, which starts in September.

- In season 8, Meg goes to jail, the family meets Chris’ evil monkey and Brian kills another dog while drink driving
- Clips shown at the panel from the upcoming Star Wars spoof “Something, Something, Something Dark Side” described as “hit or miss”

- American film director David Lynch is guest voicing a bar owner on The Cleveland Show
