Today we have obtained the full details from The Cleveland Show panel at Comic Con 2009, which took place yesterday at the convention.

Present were co-creators Seth MacFarlane, Mike Henry and Rich Appel, and voice cast members Sanaa Lathan and Kevin Michael Richardson introduced the second act from the pilot and a clip from an episode airing in December. In the first clip, the audience were introduced to the characters from the show.
The second clip featured Cleveland, Jr. pledging his virginity to his father. Cleveland the takes Junior on a detour to Comic Con to change his mind, showing him the hall of virgin geeks his son risks becoming should he never get it on. Naturally, the audience at Comic Con erupted with laughter at this clip.
Here is a full run-down of everything else which was said (may contain reiterations of what was posted here):
- Cleveland raps
- Step-daughter Roberta has a boyfriend called Federline Jones
- American film director David Lynch will be voicing a bar owner on the show
- Season 1 guest voice Kayne West will be returning for a second season episode
- Stewie will be making a cameo appearance, and so will other Quahog residents in the future
- Ernie the Giant Chicken may end up fighting with Cleveland
- Seth MacFarlane had suggested replacing Cleveland on Family Guy with the A-Team‘s Mr T, but others did not share his enthusiasm
- Seth also said that if The Cleveland Show should fail there is always room for Cleveland on Family Guy.
Clips from the pilot episode were not very well received, so said Blend Television; however, clips from the episode featuring Comic Con were much more enjoyed by the audience.
Seth said however that any cameo appearances in the show wouldn’t happen for a while, as he wants the show to develop it’s principle characters first; Rich Appel jokingly added, “unless the show’s ratings suck, then we’ll have Peter on every week!”
