“Hour Long Musical Extravaganza” Next Season
According to @SethManFan, during Seth MacFarlane’s appearance on Liveline last Sunday night, he revealed that next season’s Christmas special, “Road To The North Pole” will be “an hour long musical extravaganza”.
Season 9 will premiere on September 26th, 2010 in high definition with another hour-long episode; it will reportedly be an Agatha Christie-type “whodunit” episode, featuring a host of regular and irregular characters from the show. We’ll also be getting a Hallowe’en-themed episode next season, which a certain encyclopedia claims to be named “Hallowe’en on Spooner St”, although the title of this episode is currently unconfirmed.

WAHOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Finally
Hey! Thanks for the shout-out!
Fixed the Season 9 premier date as I believe the 26th is Sunday.
Wow! Can’t wait for the Road to the North Pole!
Can’t wait to watch that episode.
Woo!! This sounds freakin’ funny
xx
I knew we’d be getting a musical episode eventually.
This sounds fantastic, I’m really looking forward to it!
I like the idea of the christmas episode but… won’t the halloween-themed episode rip-off the simpsons tradition? Don’t get me wrong, I like Family Guy more than simpsons, but this makes me feel uncomfortable.
Of course not, since the cartoons always have Halloween themed episodes.
*since cartoons
Sorry, don’t know where that “the” came from.
As long as it’s not a trio of tales, I think it can steer clear of any complaints of copying.
This sounds great I love Family Guy.
Cool
I am very excited for this!
Very cool. Another thing to look forward to next season
This is going to be awesome, can’t wait
Family Guy musicals rock!!!
omg most of the observations most people write are just absurd, mostly i wonder whether they actually read the pieces and reports before leaving your 2 cents or if perhaps they just simply read over the subject of the blog post and pen the first thought that comes to mind. nevertheless, it is good to look over keen commentary once in a while compared to the very same, traditional blog vomit which i typically notice on the internet
