“Family Guy: Creators Live at Paley” Available on DVD and iTunes

In 2006 cast and crew members of Family Guy made an appearance at the Paley Centre to discuss the show. Previously it had only been available as short clips on Youtube. Now, thanks to Amazon, the Paley Centre have made the full 1 hour video available on DVD and iTunes respectively.

So reads the product desctiption via Amazon:

This lively discussion covers MacFarlane’s early work for Hanna-Barbera and his personal quirks (including his obsession with death and his love for Star Trek), how the pilot episode was created and how the writing team shapes the show’s stories, where the line is drawn in terms of humor, and the power of animation, including why animation has begun to take off in the past decade.

The discussion includes Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis, Mike Henry, Chris Sheridan, Kara Vallow, Danny Smith, Steve Callaghan, Mark Hentemann, David A. Goodman and Dan Povenmire.

Each DVD is manufactured on demand and is available at $19.95 a pop. Or if you prefer you can download it for $1.99 on iTunes.

The “Seth MacFarlane and Friends” event from March this year is yet to be released in any format.
