To celebrate the release of The Cleveland Show Season 1, The Paley Centre will be hosting a live table read on September 23rd.

The line up will consist of Mike Henry, Rich Appel, Sanaa Lathan, Reagan Gomez-Preson and Kevin Michael-Richardson with members of the cast and creative team still to be announced.

The event will take place Thursday, September 23 at 7:00PM at The Paley Center for Media 465 North Beverly Drive Bevelry Hills, CA 90210.

After working on “Family Guy: Uncensored” last year, Glu Mobile are developing a second iPhone Family Guy game. Although no pictures or videos can be released yet, they have revealed the story and gameplay.

Following a problem with Stewie’s time machine, Brain & Stewie will be returning back in time. All set in Quahog, time periods include Ancient Rome & Egypt and the Wild West.

Gameplay will be more linear then the minigames of “Uncensored”, with it being a 2D platformer, featuring beat ‘em up and puzzle elements. A total of four bosses will be in the game. Working with the Family Guy writers means that the regular humour we are used to will appear, such as a Pharaoh Joe being pulled in his chariot-wheelchair by Meg. Also the voice cast of the show will be reprising their roles for the game.

The game is set for release in November.

Family Guy director Greg Colton has won an 2010 Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation for storyboarding It’s A Wonderful Day for Pie in “Road to the Multiverse” At this years Creative Arts Emmys.

These are juried award categories, where there are no nominations; however, all entrants are evaluated and all those worthy of an Emmy are recognized.  The Creative Arts Emmys are given out before the Emmy Awards show on Aug. 29.

Deadline is reporting that Writers/Producers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild have each signed overall deals with 20th Century Fox.

This means that while continuing their work on Family Guy, (where they were both recently promoted to executive producers this past season) they will also have a go at development, their first project possibly being a live-action comedy.

“We have always felt like 20th was our home, so we’re thrilled to solidify our relationship with the studio,” Sulkin and Wild said. “We have had a tremendous opportunity working with Seth, and are excited to continue on Family Guy, and look forward to the new projects we will develop over the next three years. ”

Earlier this year Sulkin and Wild alongside Seth MacFarlane sold an ‘R’ rated feature film to Universal Pictures.
