Composer Vic Mizzy, age 93, passed away from heart failure in his home Saturday. Vic wrote a number of television theme songs including the "Addams Family" and "Green Acres" themes. In "Lois Kills Stewie", after discovering Stewie's secret room, Peter in Lois' body starts playing with her breasts to the Green Acres theme.

Bob Connors is such a big fan of Family Guy that he has created the world's first ever recorded Family Guy corn maze, featuring Brian and Stewie Griffin. Bob, owner of Connor's farm, located in Danvers, Boston, is hoping that Seth MacFarlane will stop by for a look.

IGN has posted an early review of this Sunday's season 8 premiere, in which they've said: "This episode absolutely sets the bar extremely high for the coming season." Scoring a very impressive 9.6 out of 10, IGN praises the episode for it's sheer variety, it's creative use of variating styles of animation, including a Disney-like sequence, it's large amount of witty jokes; they go on to say that the episode is one of the best episodes the series has ever seen.
